Terazi privacy policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Your data stays yours. The Terazi extension does not collect, sell, rent or share any personal or browsing data, and nothing it sees is ever used for advertising, marketing, profiling, analytics or anything other than comparing prices for you. It has no accounts, no tracking, no analytics and no server that receives your data.
What it reads. The extension runs only on these shopping websites: www.migros.com.tr, www.macrocenter.com.tr, www.carrefoursa.com, www.a101.com.tr, www.sokmarket.com.tr, getir.com, www.amazon.com.tr, www.hepsiburada.com and www.trendyol.com. On their product lists it reads the product names and prices that are already displayed.
What it stores, on your device only (Chrome's extension storage, never uploaded):
- the name, price, unit price, link and time seen of products you viewed on those sites, for up to 2 days, so the same product can be compared across sites;
- the results of live price searches, in session memory for up to 1 hour, so the same search is not repeated, and Getir category lists for up to 12 hours;
- your estimated savings: a running total and the last 200 products it was counted for. To count them, Terazi notices when you click a shop's add-to-cart button or one of Terazi's own badges; it records only the product, shop, estimated amount and date.
What it sends, and to whom. To show current prices from other shops, Terazi sends the product name, or the search term of the page you are on, to the search of www.migros.com.tr, www.macrocenter.com.tr, www.sokmarket.com.tr, www.amazon.com.tr and www.trendyol.com: the same request their own website makes when you search. For getir.com, which has no web search, Terazi opens the Getir category page that fits the product (for example, dairy) and keeps that list on your device for up to 12 hours. These searches run automatically as products come into view, at most two at a time per shop and with a pause between them. No cookie, identifier, account or personal information is added; the shop sees the request like any visit from your browser (IP address, browser type). Nothing is sent to the developer or to anyone else.
The nightly price list. Each night a Terazi job collects the public prices of Migros, Macrocenter and Şok from their websites. At most every 12 hours the extension downloads that list from terazi.co/data/prices.json and answers searches for those shops from it, so their searches leave your browser only when the list is missing or older than 36 hours. The download sends nothing: your browser makes an ordinary request (IP address, browser type), and Terazi keeps no log of it. The list stays on your device until the next download.
Pages it opens. When you install Terazi it opens a welcome page on terazi.co, and when you remove it Chrome opens a short feedback page there. These are ordinary web pages: your browser sends the usual request (IP address, browser type); the extension adds only its version number to the feedback page's address. If you pick a reason on the feedback page and press Send, that reason, your optional note and the version number are emailed to support@magnificalabs.dev so we can fix problems; no name, email address or other identifier is sent, and the extension is already removed by then.
The website. terazi.co (not the extension) reports JavaScript errors that happen on its own pages (the error message, page address and browser type) to Magnifica Labs' error log so broken pages can be fixed. It sets no cookies and does not track visitors.
What it never does. It never sells or shares data, never shows ads, never builds a profile of you, never tracks you across websites, and never uses data for marketing or for anything other than comparing prices.
You can delete everything Terazi stored by removing the extension.
